Creating images that expressively tell a story is Megan's main passion. Photojournalism, documentation, portraiture and event photography are Megan's mainstay.
Recent projects include over 10 years documenting the work of American non-profit Genesis at the Crossroads with its work in Chicago and around the world including historic performances in Israel with Grammy Awarding winning musician Howard Levy and Peter Yarrow of Peter, Paul and Mary; the Casablanca Conservatory of Music, performances for the 60th Anniversary of the United Nations, The Genesis World Music Ensemble's performances at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., New York, and Casablanca. As personal projects, Megan is interested in documenting various aspects of soldier and veteran life including Vietnam Veteran group Huey369 who seek to preserve the Vietnam era Huey helicopter, preserve it's history and foster healing to veterans.
Megan regularly photographs for the The New York Times, The Chicago Tribune, Chicago Magazine and RedEye publications. Other clients include Johnson & Johnson, Glynn Devins advertising, Midwest Generation, Junior Achievement, Illinois Arts Alliance and many more.
